Activities made during the first year of the project in Polish school:

- an excursion “Following the Famous Scientists”- Copernicus”

- the multimedia elaboration of facts related with Copernicus` life and activity

- competitions about Copernicus- drawing and knowledge competitions

- preparing a multimedia display about school activities connected with the realization of the project and with the exhibition about the scientist

- preparing the information boards connected with the realization of the project and with the scientist.

- preparing the recollection of the excursions – school displays

- a few assemblies-about the start of the project, short presentation of our partners and the scientists they had chosen

- preparation the questionnaire about the knowledge of Copernicus

- the competitions on logo of the project, Christmas and Easter decorations, multimedial presentation about Poland and Lubelski region

- We have prepared a power-point presentation of our school

- We have been creating an English version of our school’s webpage in order to update the activities of the project and make our partners aware of all our activities.

- The students have started working with the cities for all the schools to getting to know them better.

- We have started communicating student to student by e-mail, cards, letters and chat.

- A information brochure was issued. It contained the name of the project, the names of the partner schools, the project presentation.

- The trip - The teachers team and the pupils involved in the Comenius project visited the Observatory, Copernicus Centre and Park of Science and Technology.

- Easter, St. Valentine’s Day bazaar with handicrafts made by kids

- Preparing presentation about Easter traditions in Poland

- Creating books about Polish Christmas traditions

- Creating Christmas and Easter cards and sending them to partners’ school

- PowerPoint presentation about Polish Educational System

- Preparing the visit in Poland- also students exchange

- Creating questionnaire connected with evaluation of the first year of the project

- Setting up a Comenius group on the Facebook

- Preparing the methodology book- electronic version
